Bucktown Seafood Festival Announces 2017 ENTERTAINMENT

Celebrating the 20th annual festival November 3 – 5

METAIRIE, LA (September, 2017) – The Bucktown Seafood Festival is thrilled to announce the lineup for this year’s event. Contraflow returns this year playing at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 3. Johnette Downing performs at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 4 with the Mande Milkshakers at 4:00 pm and the Box Office Giants at 5:00 pm that evening. On Sunday, November 5, Amanda Shaw will perform at 3:00 pm and the Bucktown All-Stars will close out the festival starting at 5:00 pm.

In addition to an incredible entertainment lineup, the festival includes a kid’s area (Little Shrimpers Village) specifically designed for children 5 and under. Interactive games, story time readings, and inflatables will be available in the Lorio Center. There will also be a new food vendor lineup, and participating restaurants will compete for the best traditional seafood dish and best non-traditional seafood dish.

This year’s Bucktown Seafood Festival marks the 20th anniversary, which is a huge milestone for St. Louis King of France School. The festival, which is free and open to the public, is the school’s largest fundraiser and all revenue raised during this event is used for the direct benefit of the students.
